One of the most hotly debated topics around baptism is which name or names to use when conducting it. Many have even gone back to get rebaptized in a different name from before because they believe their baptism wasn't authentic when doing it the first time under a certain name. Most of this confusion stems from the scriptures being inconsistent in how baptisms were done. Jesus told us to baptize in the "Father, Son and Holy Spirit", while the disciples simply baptized others into the "Name of Jesus/Yeshua" So what is the truth? What name should we use when baptising others, or getting baptized?

What is it that causes God to pour out the firstborn blessing on a secondborn child? What moves God to elect someone for His glory? Many believe it's up to random chance, but Jesus told us what causes God to bless. It's not how well you speak, who your father is, how rich or poor you are, or where you grew up. It's something much more significant. God prefers to use those of a certain character, even sometimes those who are lost and weak. So we need to ask ourselves what is the character God delights in?
