Fear, worry, regret, despair, overwhelming stress, panic attacks, concern for the future, guilt. All of these things we have likely experienced. And some of us live in a place where we feel constantly overwhelmed, constantly consumed by these things. We feel like we're drowning and it's so hard to crack open the pages of our Bibles. Today we're going to do something a little crazy and I'm going to read a hundred plus verses about what God has to say on these matters. Come back to the Garden of Eden, where there's no longer the lies of the enemy. So if you can take a moment, sit back or lie down and just allow yourself to enter into God's presence, where his promises give hope, where his promises give healing, where his promises give life. Let's jump right in. Matthew 11:28 30 Come to me all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls, for my yoke is easy, and my burden light. Psalm 10, verse 17 O Lord, you hear the desire of the afflicted you will strengthen their heart you will incline your ear. Isaiah 43:1 but now thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he, he who formed you, O Israel, Fear not, for I have redeemed you I have called you by name, and you are mine. Isaiah 43:2 3 when you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers they shall not overwhelm you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flames shall not consume you. For I am the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your savior. John 14:27 Peace I leave with you my peace I give to you not as the world gifts do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid. 2 Timothy 1:7 For God gave us a spirit not of fear, but of power and love and a sound mind. Mark 4:39 and he awoke and rebuked the wind and said to the sea, peace, be still. And the winds ceased, and there was a great calm. Father, we thank you for the peace that you have given us, that we do not have to live in a place of fear and a place of anxiety and a place of panic attacks. Father, we thank you that you have promised to give us peace and to calm the storms that we might find ourselves in. And yet even in the midst of these storms, when you said, peace and be still and the disciples were afraid of drowning, you were in control of the situation even when they did not yet see it. You are the one who walked on the stormy waves and calls us out to you, who calls us out to you to walk in faith. Will you trust me? And Father, let us respond and say, hineni, here I am. And as the man said to Yeshua, if we struggle in that trusting, we say, help us in our faith, help us through our unbelief, because we choose to turn our eyes upon you. 2nd Corinthians 12:9, 10 but he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you, for my power is perfected in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly in my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ may rest on me. That is why, for the sake of Christ, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong. Proverbs 29:25 the fear of man lays a snare but whoever trusts in the LORD is safe. Philippians 4:6,7 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all, all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus and Yeshua Messiah. Psalm 118:6 the Lord is on my side I will not fear what can man do to me? Isaiah 43:18 19 Remember not the former things, nor consider the things of old. Behold, I am doing a new thing now it springs forth do you not perceive it? I will make a way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert. Acts 18 but you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Matthew 6:33 but seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Psalm 55:22 Cast your burden on the Lord, and he will sustain you. He will never permit the righteous to be moved. Father, we thank you that you have promised to take our burdens to sustain us, Father, that we are not able and we don't have to do this alone, because you are there with us even in the story of Elijah and the widow. While there was a famine in Israel, you came to this widow and sustained her with flour and with oil to provide for her and her son, that they had what they needed because you were her provider. Father, we know that you provide for our needs when we call upon you, when we trust in you Romans 15:13 May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. Revelation 21:1 5 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and earth had passed away, and the sea was no more. I saw the holy city, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, behold, the dwelling place of God is with man, and he will dwell with them they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will no longer be death or mourning, crying or pain, for the former things have passed away. And the one seated on the throne said, behold, I make all things new. Then he said, write this down, for these words are faithful and true. Matthew 6:25 Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat, or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing? Matthew 6:30 33 but if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not be anxious, saying, what shall we eat, or what shall we drink? Or what shall we wear? The Gentiles seek after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them all. But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you. Matthew 6:34 Therefore do not be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself sufficient for the day is its own trouble. 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought the good fight I have finished the race I have kept the faith. Psalm 139:13 16 for you formed my inward parts you knitted me together in my mother's womb. I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your eyes saw my unformed substance. In your book were written every one of them, the days that were formed for me, when as yet there was none of them. Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you that you formed and fashioned us, you called us by name, and that you've even written out our days before we've even walked into those days. Father, that you have planned a great and mighty calling for each one of our lives. Father, in this moment when there is stress, worry, and fear, we give that stress to you. We give that fear right now to you we give that worry to you we give that regret to you. Father, we repent of anything on our part that we have done that has hurt your heart, that has hurt others. Father, we thank you in your word. You have promised to wash us clean, to wash as white as snow. So Father, we thank you that in the midst of the chaos of this world and the stress and the storms of this world, you have called us by name and we are yours. Philippians 3:14 15 Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do forgetting what lies behind and straining toward what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal of the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. Yeshua Messiah Exodus 14:14 the Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be still. Matthew 5:11 12 Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you, and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely on my account. Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven, for so they persecuted the prophets who were before you. Deuteronomy 31:8 it is the LORD who goes before you he will be with you, for he will not leave you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. Ecclesiastes 3:1 for everything there is a season and a time for every matter under heaven. And then my favorite verse, Proverbs 3:5 6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. Psalm 121 verses 1 through 2 A song of ascents I lift up my eyes to the hills. From where does my help come from? My help comes from the LORD who made heaven and Earth. Luke 10:19 Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall hurt you. Father, we thank you for the assault authority you have given us in Yeshua, that we do not have to be in fear of the attacks of the enemy of the demonic, because you have given us authority to rebuke them and to say, get out and be gone in Yeshua's name. It is not our authority, it is your authority, and we walk as ambassadors of your name, as representatives of your character, and we walk in the power of that authority which comes from you, Father So we thank you that we do not have to live in fear, that we do not have to live in anxiety, that we do not have to live in a place of overwhelming worry because we say, be gone in Yeshua's name. Psalm 30 verse 5 weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning. Matthew 7:7 8:11 Ask, and it will be given to you seek and you will find knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds and to the one who knocks, it will be opened. If you then who are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father, who is in heaven, give good things to those who ask him? 2 Peter 3:9 the Lord is not sick slow to fulfill his promises, as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance. Psalm 112:7 8 He is not afraid of bad news his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord his heart is steady he will not be afraid until he looks in triumph on his adversaries. What is sown is perishable what is raised is imperishable it is sown in dishonor it is raised in glory it is sown in weakness it is raised in power it is sown a natural body it is raised a spiritual body. If there is a natural body, there is also a spiritual body. Father, we thank you for your peace. Father, we thank you for your joy in unspeakable circumstances. Father, we thank you for clarity of mind in the chaos and distractions of this world and the responsibilities that we carry. Father, we thank you that you've given us your wisdom, that we are not in this fight alone, that you are there with us as your word has said, that we do not fight this battle, but we can rely on you if we will only be still in Yeshua's name. Philippians 4:19 and my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches and glory in Yeshua Messiah. Ephesians 2 For by grace are ye saved through faith, that not of yourselves it is the gift of God, not by works, lest any man should boast, but yet we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Colossians 3:12 17 put on, then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience bearing with one another and if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other, as the Lord has forgiven you, so you must also forgive and above all these put on love, which binds every everything together in perfect harmony and let the peace of Christ rule on your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body and be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you, richly teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God and whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. Matthew 5:1 5 When Yeshua saw the crowds, he went up on the mountain and sat down. His disciples came to him and he began to teach them, saying, blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a desire fulfilled is a tree of life. Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. Romans 5:2 5 Through him we have also obtained access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God. Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance and endurance produces character, and character produces hope. And hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit, who has been given to us. For the things that are seen are transient the things that are unseen are eternal. Psalm 27:10 for my Father and my mother have forsaken me, but the LORD will take me in. Father, we thank you that even when our parents, our physical parents, have rejected us, have forsaken us, have treated us ill, or have simply not been there, or have misunderstood us causing pain, that you are our Father, and your love for us is eternal. As your word says, your loving kindness endears forever. Father, I thank you for healing all these wounds of the past. Father for healing the traumas that keep coming back to us in our waking moments, in our sleeping hours, that each of these moments right now, in Yeshua's name I speak freedom to these moments. They will no longer come back to plague us, to harm us. Father, I thank you for touching each of these moments in our past and for bringing healing to our hearts, into our minds. Ephesians 1:3 5 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places, even as he chose us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and blameless before him in love he predestined us for adoption to himself as sons through Jesus Christ. Philippians 3:20 21 but our citizenship is in heaven, and from it we await a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, who will transform our lowly body to be like his glorious body by the power that enables him even to subject all things to himself. And then, last but not least, instead of choosing just a verse or two from this psalm, the entire psalm is so powerful I wanted to read the full psalm to you. Psalm 103 Bless the Lord, O my soul and all that is within me. Bless his holy name, bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits. Who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good, so that your youth is renewed like the eagles. The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed. He made known his ways to Moses, his acts to the people of Israel. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love. He will not always chide, nor will he keep his anger forever. He does not deal with us according to our sins, nor repay us according to our iniquities. For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his steadfast love towards those who fear him. As far as the east is from the west, so far does he remove our transgression from us. As a father shows compassion to his children, so the Lord shows compassion to those who fear him. For he knows our frame he remembers that we are but dust as for man, his days are like grass. He flourishes like the flower of the field, for the wind passes over it and it is gone, and its place knows it no more. But the steadfast love of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting on those who fear him and his righteousness to children's children, to those who keep his covenant and remember to do his commandments. The Lord has established his throne throne in the heavens, and his kingdom rules over all. Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones, who do his word, obeying the voice of his word. Bless the Lord all his hosts, his ministers, who do his Will bless the Lord all his works in all places of his dominion. Bless the Lord. Oh my soul. As we have just read our God, our Father, has promised to give us a peace that passes understanding the peace of the world cannot give. Who has promised to give us hope for a future. Who has promised to fight for us, to deliver us when we call on his name. That when we ask, when we seek, when we knock, the door will be open to us. Who has promised to to be our strong refuge and our shield in days of trouble? Who has promised and who has said? I have adopted you. You are my sons and you are my daughters. I have called you by name. You are mine. Though the fire rage, though the storms rage, I will be with you. Let us remember these promises of our God, the God who made the UN Universe and yet calls you by name. Let us not look to the storms. Let us look to the Author, the One who gives us life. And let us remember what he has said in his word and what he says about you and your moment that you are loved, you are beloved, you are called, you are chosen. And this moment is just a moment. Though life gives us storms, greater is he who is in us than he who is in the world. Our God is able to bring beauty from ashes. Our God is able to bring light out of darkness. Our God is able to bring calm in our storms. Rest in him and look to him. Thank you, Father, for taking away every worry, anxiety, fear, panic and stress that has been controlling and consuming us. That has been weighing on us like a burden too heavy for us to carry. Father, I thank you that you have told us in your word that we can give our burdens to you. Because your yoke is easy and your yoke is light. Father, I thank you for the peace that you've promised to give us that passes all understanding. I thank you that we do not have to fight for ourselves, that you fight for us if we will only be still. Father, I thank you in your word that you said if we knock, the door will be opened. If we ask, we will receive. Father, I thank you for the house that you even said you are preparing for us in your presence. Father, I thank you that even in the midst of the storms of life that you are so much greater. Thank you, Father, for your love, for your faithfulness, for your strength that helps us through every moment, that when we are weak, you are strong and you have promised to never leave and never forsake us. So, Father, we just glorify you, we honor you, we love you and we thank you. In Yeshua's name, Amen. I hope this video blessed you. Many blessings and shalom, Sam.
