Just as Yeshua is about to ascend, He tells the disciples that whosoever they forgive will be forgiven; and who they do not forgive will not be forgiven.

This overlooked moment is one of the most important in history and is apparent when we look at how the world was about to be changed by the power of Christ's forgiveness through them: Multitudes came to experience the love & power of God through their ministries. But what did it mean exactly for them to forgive the sins of others? And what does it mean for us today?

Our enemy wants to wound us in heart, mind, soul, or strength - to wound our ability to love God and neighbor. We can love Him with our minds, but not our hearts. Or with our hearts, but not our minds. But we can be healed of our wounds and set free from the fear of love.

It can sometimes feel absolutely impossible to love enemies, and it is impossible with man. But with God? Possible. We must allow Him to flow through us, despite our flesh wanting our own way. It can 'feel good' to hate, but love casts out fear.

It is time to be planted by the waters of the Holy Spirit, to rely on our Father to heal our trees from death to life.

We've all heard of unfortunate events - church leaders fall into sin, even leading to the downfall of a church. But God wants to restore servant leadership, and structures of accountability among God's people. I would like to call all to pray for laborers in this area. It is true that some do not want accountability, but it is also true that in some areas there is a lack of mature spiritual leadership to be accountable to.
