Entire pagan cities started getting turned over to believe in the gospel! The growth, the miracles, the devotion was something many of us had never seen before. But wait, why don't we see that in the modern western church? Did something about what "Church" really means get lost over the last 2000 years? And if so, how can we ensure our churches are modeled after the early church, to see what they did? A clay jar full of seeds dated to be 2 000 years old (the time of Christ) was discovered in the ruins of a palace in Israel. Against all odds, one of the seeds were planted and actually grew into an ancient palm tree. Scientists stated it "beggars belief" that this happened. As far as they knew, DNA breaks up, and does not retain its structure for 2 000 years!

But what if this incredible event was a miracle from God with a spiritual message to His people? What if the seeds of God that entered the world through Yeshua 2000 years ago are bearing fruit like never before right before our eyes today?

As a child, Kat was a pastor’s kid. But Kat’s life turned upside down when her father decided to turn to ancestor worship and become a witchdoctor. Kat became suicidal as a teen and struggled with understanding God’s love for her. Years later, after seeking love and fulfillment through partying and one-night-stands, she found herself sitting in an abortion clinic – alone and pregnant. It was at this moment she heard God whisper something to her.

PART 2 IS OUT NOW: As the early church evolved and the separation between Judaism and Christianity grew... more and more lies about Jesus started spreading both within Judaism and Christianity itself.

In some circles, the true Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) from the first-century was replaced with a character fashioned after the ideals of men who were trying to make Jesus in their own image. The Messiah was now no longer Jewish, He didn't even like Jewish people, and He came to replace them with gentiles. He now also came to abolish some of God's key commandments.

These beliefs were some of the lies that were perpetrated. Sometimes with good intentions yet lack of knowledge, sometimes with bad intentions. A gradual separation occurred from the first century as the years passed by due to various important-to-know reasons. The theological consequences were great - and not always for the better. In both Judaism & Christianity today, it can be easy to forget that Jesus was born, lived, and died as a Jew. He never came to start a brand new religion, but rather to continue the story God started with mankind from the beginning. Large parts of the world have been robbed of the true identity of the Messiah. Sometimes when trying to reach people with the gospel, things don't turn out the way we'd hope. God doesn't "show up" with a miracle the way we hoped, the person doesn't get as excited as we hoped, and eventually, we feel like a failure. "What did I do wrong?" we wonder.

In this teaching, we will explore 4 tips and warnings to consider when trying to be a witness of truth to the lost.

For many of us growing up, we were taught that baptism is "initiation into the church", the first symbolic step in becoming part of our denomination. But is that what scripture teaches the purpose of baptism is? Unfortunately, because of a lack of understanding and knowledge surrounding baptism in some groups, it has been robbed of its power. Let's see what scripture really says the purpose of baptism is.

Today, some are rising up stating that we cannot trust the Bible in our homes - that it has been corrupted and books have been inserted or taken out by evil men. In this short video, I'd like to discuss why I personally believe God did in fact preserve the Bible. And it has everything to do with having faith in God.

Jesus affirmed the Torah, Prophets and Psalms: “These are My words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about Me in the Law of Moses, the Prophets, and the Psalms must be fulfilled.” Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures. (Luke 24:44-45)
