As surprising as it may sound: when God struck Egypt, He had mercy. He gave Pharaoh 10 merciful warnings of judgment. He had mercy on the cries of His people. He had mercy on the unbelief of Israel. And after delivering them, He expected them to live out that same mercy to others. But have we forgotten mercy?

God delivered us from our slaveries in Egypt, we saw His power and mercy on display. But why do we see such a lack of mercy in the lives of believers today? Can you hear the call! Our Master is coming back! And when He comes back, He will see if we had mercy on those in debt to us, our enemies and brethren alike, as He had mercy on our debts before Him.

The Rich Young Ruler came to Jesus with a question on the minds of many: "What can I do to inherit eternal life?" The lawyer in the story of the Good Samaritan asked the same, and Martha tried the same. But is this the right question, or does it indicate an unconscious belief that we can somehow achieve self-justification through our own works? This is perhaps one of the most common traits in all of humanity and is what every religion on Earth has come to revolve around.

However, what if the question of what we can do is the wrong question entirely. What if we are so far gone, with no hope of good works perfect enough for eternal life or relationship with God, ever? Not realizing this is the heart of pride that refuses to acknowledge the severity of our own sin. Realizing all this, the disciples asked: "What then? Who can be saved!" (Mark 10:26). God's solution, Jesus, was right in front of them. But even if we believe in the solution, sometimes the best of us still live as if there is none.

In this teaching, we will explore the 3 stories Jesus used to teach about the potential pitfalls of "religious works", distraction, our relationship with God, and eternal life. All this in The Parable of the Good Samaritan, anxious Martha & The Rich Young Ruler.

Perhaps the largest danger many who have come to develop a passion for knowledge and truth face is when we unconsciously start qualifying our own righteousness by our own works and knowledge.

After Satan starts accomplishing that in our hearts, he robs us of the ability to love and treat others like Yeshua would. We fool ourselves into believing we got "truth" because of what we've done, and give ourselves the credit for it only to become puffed up. Many are in search of more knowledge, but what they need more is love.

And in the next year, God is going to draw a line in the sand: Uncompromising, radical love towards all will be required of us. And it will be difficult. But didn't Yeshua throw over tables, so we can too? Yes, He did, but it's not that simple. I hope this teaching blesses you.

God raised me in the middle of the night to record this message. He is lowering false prophets, and raising men and women of God. A line in the sand is being drawn, with those who truly fear God on one side, and those who are casual about Him on the other. Choose which side your house will be.

A clay jar full of seeds dated to be 2 000 years old (the time of Christ) was discovered in the ruins of a palace in Israel. Against all odds, one of the seeds were planted and actually grew into an ancient palm tree. Scientists stated it "beggars belief" that this happened. In some circles, the true Yeshua the Messiah (Jesus Christ) from the first-century was replaced with a character fashioned after the ideals of men who were trying to make Jesus in their own image. The Messiah was now no longer Jewish, He didn't even like Jewish people, and He came to replace them with gentiles. He now also came to abolish some of God's key commandments.
