Why is everyone mad about this Super Bowl commercial? My response

Everyone is talking about this controversial Super Bowl ad, but is there also something wrong with how Christians responded to it? He Gets Us, but do we get Him?

We will also explore Christian discussions regarding whether Jesus only washed His disciples feet, and whether Jesus indeed washed Judas' feet.

Bearing Fruits of the Holy Spirit - Parable of the Fig Tree

Jesus cursing the fig tree seems like a strange act, yet was done as a call to believers to magnify the power of the cross through walking in the Holy Spirit!

When love for truth destroys love for others - Unlocking James 4 (James Series)

It’s becoming more common to share truth in hate. If we say we love the truth, we must have love for our brother/sister. If we say it’s love to share that truth, we must do so by fruits of the Holy Spirit.

Episode Notes

It’s becoming more common to share truth in hate. If we say we love the truth, we must have love for our brother/sister. If we say it’s love to share that truth, we must do so by fruits of the Holy Spirit.

When our love for the truth & His word becomes twisted, and is used as a weapon to attack fellow believers on non-fundamental, minor theological disagreements, we become breakers of the very law we say we love.

How Yeshua treated people despite theological disagreements | PD LIVE w/ Daniel Botkin

Yeshua's treatment of others was controversial in light of the hate-driven culture He was in. Others could not understand how He could be around someone who was in sin, who held opposing theology, or who were arch-enemies of His people.

The rescue of sinners & Samaritans was more important to Him than His reputation in the eyes of religious people.

We are honored to have Daniel Botkin (Gates of Eden) to discuss with PD this timely matter in the Body of Messiah, so we may better understand how Yeshua expects us to fulfill one of the greatest commandments.

The Forgotten Purpose of the Cross: Jesus died for more than salvation..

Mainstream Christianity may have lost sight of everything Jesus died for: For salvation, yet for more - an outpouring. For eternal life in heaven, and eternal life within you, on Earth. To bring living waters through you - now - even before you the great day of face-to-face with Him.

He has come to make home in all who call on His name. But will you allow Him to move through your temple?

Overcoming Depression, Suicidal Thoughts, and Rejection - Where healing begins | PD w/ Anna Johnson

Depression, suicidal thoughts, and rejection trauma is overwhelming among believers and the world alike. But Yeshua can help us heal and fight against every lie of the enemy.

We must know how to identify those lies, place our faith in Christ's power to deliver, and keep watch that we end the cycle with us.

Taming the Tongue of Fire - Unlocking James 3 (The James Series)

More than anything, the tongue exposes the inward parts of our heart, the kingdom we serve, and sin. James asks: "Who can tame it?" But through the power of the Holy Spirit changing our nature, the tongue will follow.

James also warns that the tongues of those with influence will be judged more strictly. The compromise of the Gospel, ticking of ears, and building of own kingdoms among men is of selfish ambition & bitter jealousy - the two symptoms of the corrupted tongue.

Urgent call: We Need Restoration of the Biblical Offices & Gifts | PD w/ Chris Franke

Join PD w/ Pastor Chris Franke as they discuss the importance of the Body of Messiah's return to embracing the diversity of God's gifts, offices and roles.

Too often, this is what has been witnessed: To the deliverance minister - everything is a demon. To the healing minister - every disease must go instantly. To the teacher - every issue would be resolved by good scholarship.

Some have thought: "if only we had more teaching on this, we could solve every problem" or "if only prophecy can go forth" "if only speaking in tongues was more accepted" "if only everyone did more evangelism" or "if… if… if…"

If we can all come together, learn from one another in honor, and give each other room to practice their gifts, perhaps then we can see: Eph 4:13 "Until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Instead of callings being that which divide, rather, let them bring us together.

Instead of maturity in one gift, the Body can mature into the stature of Christ.

Recognizing that it's not just about us, nor what God called us to. It's about His greater purposes working together in all His people. Do not let your tunnel-vision cause you to miss God's-vision happening around you.
